2026 Champion for Children Honoree
This year, we will be honoring Magna Dias, MD, as our 2026 Champion for Children Honoree in recognition of her outstanding leadership and service.
In her professional roles, Dr. Dias serves as Regional Medical Director for Inpatient Pediatric Services at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Chair of Pediatrics at Bridgeport Hospital. A graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and immediate past president of the Society for Pediatric Urgent Care, she has been a pediatric hospitalist since 1999 and is also an associate professor at Yale School of Medicine.
Her work is grounded in the belief that improving a child’s health can transform the course of their life, and her dedication to quality improvement and health equity has made a lasting impact.
