As we continue celebrating 100 years of showing up for children and families, we are thrilled to announce the next chapter in our journey: the appointment of Gisselle Acevedo as our incoming President & CEO.

Gisselle steps into this role with a deep commitment to our mission and more than two decades of leadership in mental health services and organizational management across the nonprofit, for-profit, and education sectors.

Happy Birthday to us! For a century, The Child and Family Guidance Center has stood alongside children and families, offering support, hope, and healing. For 100 years, we’ve been there.

We’ve set some big goals for our centennial through our 100 for 100 Campaign:

  • Welcome 100 new donors into the CFGC community

  • Inspire $100 gifts in honor of 100 years

  • Complete 100 community connections in schools and neighborhoods

We’ve been there for 100 years. With your support, we’ll be there for the next 100.

Participate or Volunteer for the Oct. 26

Weston Kiwanis Reservoir Run!

We are excited to share that the Weston Kiwanis Club will host the Reservoir Run—a Half Marathon, 5K, and Kids’ Fun Run—on Sunday, October 26. The Child & Family Guidance Center is again one of the event’s beneficiaries.

Here’s how you can help: 

  1. Lace up for the Half, 5K, or bring family to the Kids’ Fun Run. Register to participate by clicking here.

  2. Volunteer before, during, or after the race by clicking here.

Proceeds benefit The Child and Family Guidance Center, which provides vital behavioral health and family support services in our community.
